June 4, 1989 – Tiananmen Square Massacre

I am an 18-year-old Chinese teen, I did not know anything about this brutal genocide before 12 hours ago. In our history textbooks from elementary school to university, not even a word was mentioned about it. They change textbooks in anyway they want. Truth is substituted with lies and we are taught to resent Chiang-Kai-shek as he is described as a traitor who make up to the Western power. I used the most popular search engine Baidu to search “1989 Tiananmen Square”, nothing true came out.
